About Us

Ed McCarthy

With over 25 years in the marine industry Ed has worked at every level. From the wheelhouse to the engine room to managing a fleet of inspected large passenger vessels, Ed has done it. He has conducted hundreds of COIs and managed dozens of dry-dock inspections. He is an avid boater and if he is not on a boat, he can probably be found talking about one. In addition, he has managed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of new-build and re-fit projects. Ed also is a proud member of the International Association of Fire Fighters where he manages the repair and maintenance of a fleet of municipal fireboats. Ed is a licensed mariner and attended Maine Maritime Academy.

Jennifer McCarthy

Jennifer is a career marine professional. Having been around boats since the day she was born, she has always been involved in the marine industry. A licensed mariner, Jen has operated boats along the east coast, western rivers, and Caribbean. She has developed curriculum and taught introduction to boater's classes to a wide variety of people. Jen also has a strong background in marina operations and service.
